On 26 and 27 May 2012, the Bongo Bongo Kona Racing Team will participate in the 24 hours of Finale Ligure (Liguria, Italy) to raise awareness for Missing Children Europe.
Roberto Cortese, team member of Bongo Bongo Kona Racing Team met Missing Children Europe in Engadin, last 11 March on the occasion of the Engadin Ski Marathon. Moved by the issues dealt with by the European NGO, he registered in MCE's team for the ski marathon and wore MCE's logo on his ski suit all along the race.
Spontaneously, he volunteered to involve his mountain bike team in favour of the organisation.
The 12 bikers will be the ambassadors of Missing Children Europe and Telefono Azzurro, one of the two Italian ONG members of the European network.
Volunteers of Telefono Azzurro will attend the event, supporting the bikers and disseminating information to the general public about MCE, Telefono Azzurro and the European hotline for missing children 116000.
We wish them all a happy and successfull event and thank them warmly for their dedication.
